Keeping in view the intense heat that has gripped the entire country, the Punjab Education Department on Wednesday announced summer break from June 1, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the education department, the summer vacations will be starting from June 1 this year. The department has directed administrations of all schools to provide summer vacation work to students by May 31.

The education department also directed the schools to announce examination results from grade 1 to grade 8 before May 31.
The summer break will continue till July 31 and the new academic session will be commenced from August 1.

The new syllabus will be distributed among the students of government schools during summr vacations.
The summer break notification will be issued next week.
