Position: Departmental Head - Purchases, Procurement Wing, North Islamabad

Reporting to: Wing Head, Procurement Wing (North)

Academic Qualification Experience:

Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputable HEC recognized University/ Institute
Minimum 05 years' work experience, with at least 02 years in Procurement and/or Supplies Management department, either in Financial Services industry, a leading MNC conglomerate, or a public sector organization.
Demonstrated ability to work and manage time effectively, particularly when under pressure and while dealing with work related ambiguities& conflicts.

Other Skills/Expertise Required

Capability to direct a medium size team, coupled with people management & interpersonal skills, and
negotiation & influencing skills.
Understanding of PPRA Rules, Strategic Procurement Management, and sourcing methodologies
(Tendering/Spot Buying) shall be preferred.
To be responsible for Procurement through Spot Buying of Goods& Services, including but not limited to
General ltems, Office equipment, etc., through Bank's internal procurement process and in conformity to
PPRA Rules.
To ensure timely delivery through prioritizing and following strategies for Quality Control & Cost

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

Efficiency.
To ensure the overall quality and consistency of Bids (Quotations) in collaboration with end users.
To organize and facilitate meetings of various Committees to provide full support on Bid Openings,
Technical Evaluations, Financial Evaluations, etc.
To ensure that all procurement related transactions are conducted in a transparent manner, providing fullI
and open competition, thus confirming to Bank internal policies & procedures, regulatory requirements, PPRA Rules and other applicable laws.
