Position/Job Title: Branch Manager
Reporting to: Regional Executive Retail Banking/ Regional Head

Academic Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputable HEC recognized University / Institution.

Professional Qualification:
  1. Candidates having Master's degree from HEC recognized University/ Institution will be preferred.
  2. Professional certification would be an added advantage
  3. Minimum 8 years of experience in branch banking, retail sales and business development as Branch
  4. Experience
  5. Manager / Area Manager
  6. Sound knowledge of branch banking operations
  7. Sound product knowledge
  8. Good business acumen
  9. Sound knowledge of compliance regulations i.e. AML / CFT as well as SBP PRs and international
  10. processes
  11. Goal oriented and result driven

  23. To be responsible for overall management of branch affairs including development of business, achievement of targets/ KPls through meeting the branch sales objectives and support the implementation of sales strategies in the branch
  24. To meet with Existing to Bank (ETB) and New to Bank (NTB) customers for deposit generation and to market retail banking products
  25. To ensure service delivery in the branch to the highest competitive standards, initiate customer satisfaction reviews, obtain customer feedback and realign processes to improve customer experience and timely resolution of their complaints and queries
  26. To execute and deliver branch's annual business plan and budget, to ensure that the activities and plans performed by the branch are aligned to the Region/ Group strategy and plans
  27. To focus on core deposit generation through opening of core accounts to minimize volatility in the branch portfolio
  28. To manage atrition of deposit and customers through proactive and timely interventions.
  29. To implement innovative cost cutting initiatives to minimize the variable cost of the branch in coordination with Branch Operations Manager
  30. To carry out performance evaluation and mentoring of the reporting staff and conduct periodical meetings with the staff to achieve business and service targets Outline of Main To review reports and liaise with controlling office regarding the branch affairs
Responsibilities
  1. To monitor internal control of the branch on regular basis to ensure sound operational health leading to compliance with the Bank's internal policies and Prudential Regulations
  2. To eliminate fraud and forgeries by keeping stringent and proactive internal control mechanisms
  3. To stay abreast of the market trends and devise strategies to counter competition and maximize market share.
  4. To provide support for launching new products, campaigning and for new sale initiatives (as and when required)
  5. To liaise and coordinate with Branch Operations Manager and other staff of the branch in order to ensure smooth branch functioning, system maintenance and manage the administrative affairs of the employees in the branch
  6. To exercise expense approval powers along with Branch Operations Manager against respective account
  7. heads and as per the criteria spelled out in document of financial powers in vogue
  8. To liaise and coordinate with Branch Operations Manager and other staff of the branch in order to ensure that
  9. the branch staff is fully compliant with all the AML preventions and KYC policies
  10. To manage staffing capacity, recruitment, succession planning and work force planning
  11. To eliminate audit observations (internal & external) and to implement measures to minimize and curtail its recurrence
  12. To establish a culture and work environment that attracts, retains and motivates the highest caliber of skilled professionals
